Up for the first time this year.  A few comments:1.  Where's the natural snow?  Bare ground everywhere without snowmaking.  We have more snow in our backyard in SE Mass right now than Oz.  OTOH kudos to the snowmakers.  Some amazing product out there today.  And lots of it.  I've never seen so many guns going during the day ever.2.  What's up with Rooster's?  The baked haddock that I love is now $16.95, up from $10.95.  Most other menu items have similar increases.  Since when did Rooster's…See More

One of the topics raised in the discussion of SR's vision plan was a bike trail connecting the resort with Bethel.  Anyone have any info on progress in this regard?See More

Got to thinking a little out of the box about late season options.  Everyone knows that Jordan, Oz and Aurora have the most coverage this time of year, but they are often the first to close.  Would something like this be possible as an alternative to the setup of previous years at Barker? Use South Ridge as a base for selling tickets.  Run shuttles over to the base of Aurora or to the Jordan.  An alternative, likely more costly, would be to upload and download on the chondola.  Keep the North…See More

Friday morning we came upon a serious injury to a woman on the side of Eureka.  We stopped to help out just as a lone patroller arrived with the sled.  When we left, 5 patrollers were working on her, with a neck collar and body board involved.  Anybody know how she made out?

Any chance of having ski in/out at the Summit or Jordan this week? Looking to come up Wednesday and that would be a major factor on where to stay. Thanks.
