In a severe thunderstorm yesterday, Mt. Abram base lodge was struck by lightning and caught on fire. The building was extensively damaged. I certainly hope that they can recover and get rebuilt before the ski season starts.

Left and Right would like to invite all to an end of the season cookout next Saturday April 23rd at Stony Brook Recreation in Hanover. We would plan to start around 3:00. BYOB and grilling stuff. Hope to see you there.

It's that time again that the Bangor Savings Bank Foundation is accepting votes to help decide who in Maine to give grants to. We tried last year to mount a write in campaign for Maine Handicapped Skiing. Let's try again this year. Log onto www.communitymattersmore.com and write your vote in for Maine Handicapped Skiing! They would be in the Western Maine Region.

You guys are the best! Thanks for making this weekend one of the best ever! Tin Woodsman and Upper Downdraft were spectacular! I've never seen so many people skiing oz. Can't wait to get back.
