Just heard that Cho-sun will have a place at South Ridge next season ... apparently it's going to be next to Pajamajo's.

Just by chance I happened to see a poster in the Good Food store advertising a pizza party at the Matterhorn in appreciation of Rocky Freda. Before Rocky passed away suddenly in 2009 he was owner of Sun Valley Sports and an all around great guy. The party is on Wednesday 2nd February, not sure of the exact time.See More

Just heading out from the Jordan and snow is falling, not heavily and only small flakes but it is snow!!!

Now that I have your attention .... just for a bit of fun since this will be my only appearance at skiing at SR this year thought I would see if you are game for a little competition.Most people know me for skiing in orange jacket and bright orange ski pants, well this year I have a new outfit, so the first person to identify me on the hill I will buy a beer for at beer thirty, I do have a community sticker on my helmet. Ski's Right and Snow Reporter are excluded as they have already seen me.See More

... or possibly this season.Unfortunately we are not going to make it this christmas (sorry left and right no smarties) when we were booking are holiday it didn't come close to our weeks at the Jordan and we couldn't get an exchange, coupled with the fact that when we booked SR only had 8 trails open, though looking a lot healthier now :-). SO far it's looking pretty good, but one thing I have noticed is that if you are reading a thread and then want to go back to the index there is no easy to achieve this, you either use the back button which would be a pain, or if you click on the "All Discussions" link which takes right back out to the top level, it would be nice to be able to get to the "General Discussion" index with just one click.
