Every time I go to the loaf, it's one thing or another.  Ususally negative 20 degree temps with a high windchill and rock solid terrain.  But I was up there Saturday and the snow and temps were great; had a blast.  Until there superquad broke down twice, sending everybody and their cousin Joey to those sweet double lifts which take about 30 minutes to get to the top.  Don't get me wrong, the loaf has some nice steeps and is great when everything pulls together, but it's rare.  Thank You SR for…See More

It looks like the weekend is going to bring some cooler temps below freezing.  Grant it probably only for a few hours here and there, but hey, it's a window to work with.  Can we expect to get those guns fired back up and get this season rolling!?!

Does anybody know what the next two payment dates are for the 3 payment season pass plan?

Looking at the Lords or Bridges for next year, and I'm torn on whether I should opt for the 177 or 185.  I'm all over the mountain equally; cruising groomers, trees, bumps, jumps.  I'm about 6 feet 180lbs.  Scared the 185 maybe a little tough to maneuver in tight trees and bumps, but would like the 185 for bombing the cruisers.  Any suggestions?

Where is it going? Things are getting pretty crazy. I remember the days when you could huck a "double heli" and be admired as an elite. And then you look at Shaun White's Olympic run in salt lake 4 years ago comparatively to this years monster run, and salt lakes run wouldn't even have qualified him this year. What's next. So, I'm sure many of you are used to skiing the same trails day after day. I know I do. Start at Barker, it gets crowded, hit up spruce, then over to white cap or Aurora.However, it is refreshing to try "new" trails that I am not too familiar with. I hit up Wildfire, Salvation and Jibe last weekend for the first time in years, and it was a nice change of pace. Does anybody know why the ops crew hasn't focused on opening Lazy River to Risky? This is usually a combo they try to open early to alleviate congestion on barker/locke area. Just curious.
