Thanks phanga for all your great and challenging shots, and the time you take to put this "quiz" here each week. Great fun and a great way to learn the hill from so far away.
My last guess for this season : Ectasy
Have a great summer!
Mike
is that a 3 person chair or 3 peeps on a 4 seater?
I don't see foot rests?
I say Black H***
I am saying area between Crossbow and Tightwire....
2 nice "hints" in that pic. Actually 3.
I got it but will think a bit more before answering....
Lower section of starburst. Taken off the little white cap lift
If I had a second guess, which I don't, or if I looked more carefully before I lept ... I would be going with Wheelie's guess of Black H***. The angle of the fall line and the lift cable shadow looks better than that of my original guess. But is it a 4 seater with with just 3. The steepness of that fall line is another strong indicator. A long wait until the answer on Friday morning ;-(

Unless this has been reversed, this is taken from the Tempest chair. The chair is on the right of the tower, and the Tempest quad is the only one of the four Poma modified Yan's that goes up on the right. The Moonstruck, White heat, and Aurora quads all go up the LEFT side of the towers. As such, it has to be looking at a side trail. I suspect this is Wildfire, and as such is my guess. It could be the top of Jibe too, but sticking with Wildfire.
Black h***?
Thanks again for the fun. Have a great non-ski-season.
The lift pictured has to be Aurora. The Pentagon chairs indicates it's a Yan. Aurora is the only Yan Quad with a clockwise rotation and (larger diameter) Poma sheaves (LWC/11 has mostly Pullman-Berry sheaves from the Barker Double). The Poma swing guard gives it away. I'm going with Black H***.
I didn't know what I was saying but I knew Max would figure it out.
first time I got one first!
