Permalink Reply by Beasley on January 25, 2012 at 11:17am Hey, it's just like the election primaries! Someone else gets to decide who you can vote for. The bracket system they're using forces you to choose between SR and Sugarloaf in this round, guaranteeing that only one of them can make it to the semi-final round.
Permalink Reply by Hawk on January 25, 2012 at 11:43am Your going to have to choose between them sooner than later.
We all know which one is better. ;-)
Permalink Reply by TOOTH on January 25, 2012 at 3:56pm Yes we do Hawk. I guess it all comes down to how much you want to be challenged, right? Experts to the North please. Those who want to listen to Jimmy Buffett to the South. ;-)
Im only playing. I love SR too.
Permalink Reply by jerryg on January 25, 2012 at 5:43pm You may be playing, but you're not totally off base. I mean SR did get rid of Bn'B but kept the wood-chip-crappy-cover-band weekend. That being said, SR has some challenging stuff. Not like dropping in off Spillway X-Cut, but I could name a half dozed trails that no SLer could make fun of with a straight face. (That would include no SBer :) )

Permalink Reply by GRAND ILLUSION on January 25, 2012 at 7:41pm Who really cares what the best ski area is. Does it really matter? Lets show them the power of our board and move Sunday River to the next round.
For the record, all in I much prefer the River. Snow making is king. 8 Peaks is cooool. On a power day the Loaf does have value, but how many power days are there?

Permalink Reply by Hawk on January 26, 2012 at 9:27am This goes to show you, there are many people from the Boston area that are Loafers. Maybe it's time to bring back the licence plate conversation. ;-) I still contend that I was somewhat right about the number of MA skiers at the Loaf.
Battle of the Sugars! Bush vs Loaf. I don't know about you but I am a big fan of Bush! ;-) Ahh.....you know what I mean.
