Time after time, I find some of the same spots on trails that just never let me down.

  • Upper Risky, skiers left right under the lift.  Theres always a good 10-15 turns there that have good cover.
  • The very top of Northern Lights, as you get off the lift and go around the first turn.  There's always that little hip jump on the skiers right.  Sometimes you can get some nice air.  The landing can be rough though depending on skier traffic.
  • Lower Obsession.  The triple headwalls.  Can't go wrong.
  • Shockwave, just as you approach the long straight part of the trail, skiers right has that little rock drop.  Nice little hit, but just have to make sure you clear the rock/mogul.
  • Lazy.  The 'S' turn that you can just burn through.

Of course these are just a few; what do you got?

How did I know somebody from this community would bring that up.  It's a big mountain my brother.  And if an extra 4 people lap my favorite part of MM or Escapade or Jibe, so what.

Keep talking about all the sweet spots and they will lose their sweetness..

Ridge run roll on the dream. Love carving into it launching and landing tele on its back side.

<MIXING BOWL>

Rogue and Excalibur rolls (miss the Tommy Moe Bump of the 90's at the bottom of excailibur though

Super G turns on Lazy and Lolla

Jordan to White Cap Downhill

the R.R.T.P.T

These are many favorites with out giving away the "goods  It is funny how many good spots there are that people just ski past.

Hate not being able to locate a previous sweet spot ! Gotta' remember the GPS!

Skiers left on Rogue when Excalibur is closed but the guns on it are roaring.  Great blowover almost top to bottom!  Lost Princess far skiers right has been a great stash this year I think thanks to the width coverage from the tower guns.  Extreme left on mid Obsession tight on the trees.  It's been great all year!

Skier's left side of Haulback, especially after the second roller.... and watch out for the deer!

whoops, wrong resort.

^Damn deer needs to look uphill before entering a trail!  I hope his pass was revoked.

Favorite Spot:

That amazing powder below the rock jump on Mixing Bowl.  It's hard to find but if you all will keep lapping it 20-30 times you will find it!

Second Favorite: (for being a jerk above)

The jump off Tempest onto Jibe, to the right.

foot of fresh, skiers left TIN WOODSMAN

Bring It!!
