Trail Sweet Spots
Time after time, I find some of the same spots on trails that just never let me down.
- Upper Risky, skiers left right under the lift. Theres always a good 10-15 turns there that have good cover.
- The very top of Northern Lights, as you get off the lift and go around the first turn. There's always that little hip jump on the skiers right. Sometimes you can get some nice air. The landing can be rough though depending on skier traffic.
- Lower Obsession. The triple headwalls. Can't go wrong.
- Shockwave, just as you approach the long straight part of the trail, skiers right has that little rock drop. Nice little hit, but just have to make sure you clear the rock/mogul.
- Lazy. The 'S' turn that you can just burn through.

Funny and interesting post. Personally, I love the last few turns on Blackhole skiers left before the runout by the lift tower. I also love coming into Tourist Trap and hitting that little lip/drop on skiers right. And you can't forget the Spine on Cascades.

Also forgot the little jump on the top of Tempest. The fact that I can land a 180 makes me feel young (even if I do look extremely dorky doing it.)

love the sweeping right turn on Salvation and skiers right on Rogue. Also love skiers left tight line in trees on Tin Woodsman and skiers left on Wildfire (under branches where only short guys can get too).....good thread.

How did I know somebody from this community would bring that up. It's a big mountain my brother. And if an extra 4 people lap my favorite part of MM or Escapade or Jibe, so what.

I deleted my post even though the only people who new what I was talking about all ready know about it. Sadly it looks like this year there will not be enough snow anyway.
