Sunday River Bike Park pre-opening update
In preperation for our June 24th opening the trail crew have been busy buffing the trails out. At this point its looking like we will have 100% of our trails ready for opening day. A few of the highlights of what we've been doing are:
Flat 'n 'em, it has recieved some serious dirt work rebuilding a few of the areas that have deteriorated over the years. This trail will continue to receive attention from the trail crew in an efortto resurfacethe trail, top to bottom.
Tango & Crash had some trees removed from the upper portion so riders can carry even more speed. It almost feels like I could take chain and brakes off my bike for that piece of trail now.
Keep it Going, the jump line was recently updated. All the jumps have been hit with a shovel, and many were redesigned. There are even a few new additions scattered about. Be sure to look before you leap!
Well time to get back to work. I hope you all can come out and check out what we;ve been building.
