Anyone know if Sunday River will be turning on the guns on Agony, Shockwave, or the Oz trails anytime soon?

I have no idea about those trails, but I can tell you they were turning guns as I was leaving.

Snow report says the guns are on the the pipe and rocking chair.  I sure wish they were on trails more people cared about.  Eureka never got any snowmaking last year.  It deserves some love.

I think the plan if possible  is to get into lost princess and Tin woodsman and maybe eureka.   I think some work is being done to get a line cleared out that way.

Hate to say it, but Agony needs to be blown on and and even maybe mowed once (whale tamer), then let it go au natural (with an occasional resurfacing).

This way we can enjoy the trail well into the spring when it's at it's best.

you can say that again last year sunday groomer did not have a bump run for the last few weeks,u would have hike to shockwave and take a suttel back to a lift. (ski the east guys left for ktown to ski bumps last year)

I am betting there are many who disagree with this statement.  Big pipe event at SR this weekend and alot waiting for some real jumps on RC.

Couldn't agree more. Agony bump line of the 90s is one of the main reasons I kept coming back.  Now that trail is a wasteland.  Must be so embarrasing for the mountain to have thousands of people a day go over trail and look at dirt and rocks.

That being said the snow on other trails has been great, but I really miss the good ole days of nice bump lines on agony & Upper Downdraft to 3D.

Bumps?????? sunday river could care less about bump trails..... its alll about racing..... dont even get me started!!!

Ball dropped ! I find it hard to believe that the pipe will be ready for next weekend and people are planning on traveling in for it.No one was working on it Sunday. I hope I'm wrong either way it would of been nice if are home court kids could of practiced in it before hand.

sorry to say  but he pipe is the biggest waste of$$$   rocking chair would be far more bang for the buck....% of pipe riders is far lower than% of park riders...... also days that the pipe is actually good are few and far between

Pipe and rocking chair barely put a dent in the snowmaking firepower SR has anyway, so that is not holding them back from making Oz/Agony. Shock/top gun/upper downdraft/3D could use a resurface and even though White Heat is skiing pretty good, it has the least amount of base I think I've ever seen on it at this point in January, including last season. A blocked line to Oz may explain that, but Agony looks terrible under the lift. Would like to see a little more love for the steeper stuff this year. Glad they didn't bother to turn Oz Quad this past weekend.
