Skied Snowbasin yesterday with Thaller and Whaller.

They kicked my ass all over that mountain. I was humbled. I couldn't even catch my breath trying to keep up with them.

I was sucking wind and praying for the bottom while they were effortlessly dropping chutes and cliffs. They were awesome. I was not. I thought I was a great skier...up until yesterday. Hats off to those two, especially T. What a great skier she is.

I will no longer be participating in any beatdown ski-offs or any beatdown threads. I suck and am not worthy of the trash talk I've dished out recently. I apologize to anyone who wanted to ski a beatdown with me. It will not happen. I will not participate. There, I said it!! I'm done.

Who cares Jr, lost interest about a week ago. I told you, the beatdown will happen without you. You won't be invited and stop checking the board and go ski.
no suprises here! :)
So how about a real report Jr. Did you really ski with them? How were the conditions.
Snow is good. Could use a little fresh at this point, but skiing is wonderful. Just got to Solitude. Booted up and heading for breakfast. Gonna be checking out 4 condos in Cottonwood Heights after skiing today. We have our eye on one in particular. May pull the trigger if all goes well.

Go for it Junior! You only live once and you don't see any hearse's towing U-Hauls (you can't take it with you).

Stick to Powder Mountain and keep discovering the fresh lines in the woods off Lightning Ridge and Powder Country. While we were there, we saw locals coming in from Alta/Snowbird/Canyons coming up because things got tracked out down there.

Either way, enjoy! We had a hard time re-adjusting to eastern skiing this past weekend (it's still firm under foot).
I like powder mtn but I could never make that my home mountain. Fresh yes, challenging no. Fun for a day or 2, but I get bored after that.

Wait till u ski the rest of Utah. We're at Solitude right now. Days after a storm and still plenty of knee deep untracked. Snowbird gets tracked out, the other 3 up here really don't, and the terrain in the cottonwoods is much
more interesting and challenging. I like powder mtn a lot bit could not make itu western home base. Just one mans opinion .

What's Knee-Deep mean?
Do storms ACTUALLY exist where we receive knee-deep snow?
Personally, I've never seen Knee-Deep.
Washington DC - February 5 - 7, 2010 - even up to your knees, I suspect!
