Does anyone know if there is any skiable snow left? I'd take 100 feet!
Thanks for any help!

Permalink Reply by Glade Monkey on May 21, 2011 at 12:17pm The last contiguous parts of White heat were melting apart last week. What is left in Jordan is a guess, I never went over there last week. I would expect with a few inches of rain and snow eating low clouds and fog you could probably find enough for one last snow ball fight, but not enough to hike and call it a ski day.

Looks like some grass skiing to conect the thin spots, bring the green wax for the grass, works good.

Permalink Reply by TwinTipTele on May 23, 2011 at 3:58am Well, if you'd like to buy a ticket to Whitefish, you can definitely still ski... Probably about 100" at the summit still, and skiable to the base.... First brown spots were showing through on Thursday though, so I'd imagine you only have about 6 to 8 weeks left before it's all gone....
Good thing they closed 5 weeks ago!
Viva le summer!

(Despite being on the list Mont Saint Saveur in Quebec finished up last weekend...)
Squaw is closing after this weekend, but Mammoth is still pushing to stay open until the 4th of July!
