Another wonderful organization in Maine that is well worth supporting.

Click on the link, read up on things, and vote for Riding to the Top (8th one down on the left).

I know personally of people who this program has helped. Please help them get one of these grants.

Done. Thanx for heads up. Another good one in there too that's connected with Maine Adaptive, but riding center - check.

Thanks for posting this, Junior.  Along with Maine Adaptive, Riding to the Top has been an important part of our lives for more than a decade.  Scotty started riding with RTT when he was 4, and he still rides with them every week.  The therapeutic benefits were apparent from the very first day, but beyond that Scotty just loves to ride and he has a blast every time...for him it isn't about the therapy, it is about the fun!

Below is a story that ran on on "207" on WSCH6 several years ago...Scotty and my wife are in it starting at 1:30...Scotty has grown so much since this, he is now taller than her!  The pic is from his riding session yesterday on a horse named Friday (Scotty is wearing his Super Scotty halloween costume).

Right on. (Or should I say Ride On!!)

Something about riding helps these kids a lot. No idea what that something is, but it helps with balance, helps with coordination, and helps with comprehension. But most of all, it's a ton of fun for the kids.

Click the link and vote for RTT. Let's help them get that grant. Thanks.

Not sure if my Canadian vote will be counted ... but I voted for RTT !  We have to be grateful for what we have and must help out great causes like this when we can.  Hope they get the grant !

Word on the street...Votes from the Great White North will indeed count. Tell your friends....
