To me it depends on your finances. I don't have nearly enough disposbale income to justify such an expense, but that is one heck of a luxury. I would certainly consider it in the future.

If I was going to buy one, it would be at Barker...

I use to buy them.  With young kids I thought it was a must.  For our own use is more of a luxury. All in your perspective.

I have had a Parking Pass at Barker for about 3-4 years now. More money but I like parking very close to Barker. And I'm there at 8:00am every Sat and Sun.

perfect for tailgating....wouldn't go wtihout one and only for Barker for us.

I called and they are only available for South Ridge this year.  Probably going to pass but get on the waitlist for Barker.

Is it a sticker that goes on the car or can you transfer it between vehicles depending on who drives to the mountain that morning?

It is transferable. We used to laminate them instead of sticking to car.  Now they are removable.

Our guests use it as much as we do as they tend to have trouble being at the lodge early, and , or have kids gear to lug.

my 2 cents is South Ridge is not as worth it as much as Barker for the climbing alone. Starting off the day getting stuck parking at the bottom gets old quick. Depends on how many days you use it also

If you have kids, the extra money and want to get on a waiting list then yes.

If you have some creativity, there are ways to get reasonable parking at Barker.

And I will not reveal my secrets.... ;)

You park on road runner, that is not Barker.  I see you getting dressed down there every weekend....

I prefer RR (when it's open) and realize it isn't Barker.

I have other tricks up my sleeve for Barker...

Lets talk about hidden glades and alternate routes to the mountain too why we are at it. ;)
