The Sunday River community forum officially has a new home at http://sundayrivercommunity.proboards.com/

As shared in an earlier post, this current forum will be ending in mid-May so we recommend that all discussions and content from this point forward be started on the new site. We'll do our best to help spread the word.

Thanks,

Sunday River

Very nice of you to send out the emails and post it here as well. Thanks.

Is there any chance that you could leave a permanent link to the new board on SundayRiver.com?

Would help out a lot.

Thanks...

Can port over our basic info?
So is this a Sunday River site? Mean is Sunday River managing it or someone.

MAC is the admin, not Sunday River.  Sunday River has more or less endorsed it however.

Well, we are closing in on Memorial Day Weekend and the old forum is still up and kicking. Wonder when it goes?

Well done Sunday River.

The new community site is dead. But when/if it does come back to life, it will roast you and Boyne, tearing you a new one wider than is fixable as far as passholder loyalty goes.  Ever had an episiotomy?

Since it is now essentially run by a Killington parasite who has no real ties to your resort and who you once tried to ban, you will have no control in guiding the dialogue.  The folks left are tied to SR only because they own real estate here, not because they love or even like what you and Boyne stand for.  You no longer have a connection to a community that fronted the Sunday River name in countless  good deeds.  You took the low hanging fruit and stomped on it.  Other ski resorts would die for a following like this.

Congrats.  You follow in the footsteps of other areas who cut community ties... and wish they could get it back... but can't.  Stewpeed are you.

Nice of you to stop by and be one of the hundreds of people who view daily!

you got it - 100's of views - that works - in a week maybe.  Your make shift, fraud scary, site is dead based on the traffic I see- especially with JR as the defacto leader.  You saved the day, but JR took the site over.   I wish you luck.  I hope it explodes leading up to next ski season. It could.  SR screwed the community with the timing here.  Come on - admit that.

I hope that you bury Boyne.  That is why I made the post in the first place.  Local Boyne folk at SR are not smart here. They are extremely foolish. Idiots.   You got them, but not sure you realize it.

You would agree it would have been better for all that SR continued this community site. No ?

You should burn this post into your new site:

A sad day I knew was inevitable.  When I think back to when I first signed up on this board.. I didn't have a clue what I was getting into.  Lots of years have gone by...  lots accomplished, lots of fun... lots of changes.  I'm proud to have been a major player for a long time although recently not so much..  I'm grateful for all the friendships and memories.    Maybe a refresh is a good thing although i'm disappointed that SR has cut the ties... but not surprised... something that seems to be happening in a lot of areas as of late...  my biggest disappointment is not even a thank you for the good things ...  and acknowledgment that some of us chose to ski SR based on this community...

Ha,

Sunday River  - do you see this?  No activity since May 13.

18 days later the WatervilleMaineSkier brings your community back from the dead.   And, I bring it back by advocating for the new site.  Priceless.

More posts on this dead site than the new site in the last week!!

And you want to end this?

Come on you dummys - keep posting and you may actually save this.
