I had one of those for 20+ years...
Now I just keep guys with real jobs honest
Great ride today (hot!)
Sitz and MB can really spin those cranks
I, on the other hand, just fake it. (and not that well either)
I felt much better on this ride than last years Upton ride, but this year I have a full year riding under my belt and a better bike under my ass.

MonkeyBrook said:Count me in if you do it KC. Me, Sitz and Wheeler had a nice ride in RI today. 2K of climbing, close to 45 miles. 95 degrees. Ouch. Alot of fun.
KC said:Funny you mention that Hawk, I was considering doing in the future. With time on the new ride I should be in a good place to give it a try in the next year or so.
Mansfield vs Mt Washington: When you compare the vertical profile of the Mt Washington race and the Mt Mansfield race and factor in the difference in surface and bike setups (Road Bike vs Mtn Bike) : There is pretty good evidence that the two races are "close" in difficulty". I can't remember the website where the data was compiled (I think hill junkie in a google search will get you there), but the >12% sustained grade for ~4.3 miles was pretty close to the MTW race. Check it out, very cool stuff.
Hawk said:I thought you might be in this year also. Hell you did Mansfield. This one is only a wee bit longer and steeper. ;)
KC said:it was in jeopardy anyways, I heard Sitz was riding in this year's event :)
Hawk said:I read today that they took Hamilton's Mt Washington hill climb record away. Oops Too bad....

You hammered it. Just a little more finesse than brute strength on the hill parts and your quads won't talk back so much at the end. :)
