No chance. He's not a good enough liar to work in THAT marketing department. To work in SR marketing and sales, you need to be able to look your customers straight in the face and flat out lie to them about weather, snow conditions, natural snowfall, wind holds, and the general state of the molehill. Tom does not qualify for that job. He's way too honest. Even at his best, he could never turn 2 inches of wet slop into 57 inches of powder. Not his gig.

I'd like to see him end up out west somewhere. A place that truly appreciates the job he's capable of doing, even in the face of an employer who does not let him communicate.

Good luck Tom. Keep us posted as to where you end up.

wow.

Douche-bag.

I wish Tom Well.  As far as the post.... Some things are better not posted.

junior being junior nubee not proud

WMS,

Funny timing for this post.

Junior makes at least one stupid, false accusation about SR a week on K-zone. No one mentions Jr for about a month here and you choose this one to post? Funny thing is, even some of the K-zone regulars are tired of his obsession with SR.

Cross posting from message board to message board is BS.

Marketing Team,

Dont take what some obsessed, quite possibly un-balanced person has to spew personally. But if you see a Porsche with NJ plates heading your way, make sure you have a quick exit strategy.

I loved skiing that 2" of wet slop last NH February break.  2" or less of wet slop in town meant no shoveling for me and more time and energy to ski the goods in OZ in Jordan.  In my 16 years of skiing at SR, I had never seen it before and I welcome it any time.

Haven't heard about JR in while.  Funny he should be mentioned today was he feeling out done now that Oprah has announced that she has a long lost 1/2 sister?

wut.  where jr at.
I don't know Tom, but wish him well.

Looks like WMS and Nubee show up at same time, coincidence?? I think not. Marketing team, ignore this silly stuff....it was posted to get a rise out of you...I would suggest ignoring.

As for the 2" of slop. Me, Astro, AstroJr, MsAstro and Astrofriend hiked from Aurora up to. OZ (Jordan lift was closed that Friday) and had two great runs down emerald city...I know I am not the tallest guy but the snow was mid-thigh for me. And the following morning, those tracks were completely filled in and we repeated the same runs. It was raining at SR put puking snow in OZ. I don't know about 57" but it was more snow than I had ever skied at SR.

This is getting REAL old.

I hope WMS (whoever they are) realizes this was as stupid a post as Jr's and deletes the whole thing

Man up WMS

Good luck finding it

The old board is gone

Actually Wheezer, nothing on the world wide web ever goes away.  http://www.sundayriver.com/community/lofiversion/index.php?f1-0.html

Well Mr. Clavin, (kinda ironic don't you think?)

You are more knowledgable than I on the world wide web.

Does that make you feel superior?
