Thank you Rev. Don and Sunday River Christian Ministry you make Easter Sunday special. Easter Weekend at Sunday River has become my annual tradition and something I look forward to every year. I love your Easter Service and find the sunrise service outside in nature on the peaks so very special and moving. The messages of celebrating nature, new beginnings' and fellowship make your service unique. I would love for the service to return to Barker Mountain or North Peak next year.

It was too crowded/hot/stuffy at Barker.

BTW, A ski instructor friend posted "sunrise service at the top of the mountain, followed by skiing at 6:30am." at Waterville Valley.  It's good enough for them.

Please bring back our tradition.

Well, I know Killington moved their summit sunrise service this year into the Grand Ballroom at Snowshed due to concerns with forecast high winds.  SR made the change Saturday I think, so I am giving them the benefit of the doubt the decision was weather concerns as well.  Hope to see it back at the Peak next year.

Sugarbush relocated theirs the day before because 60 mile an hour winds and snow was predicted.  I go every year this was probably the 2nd time we have relocated.  It is well attended with not only skiers but people in regular clothes so bad weather is a consideration.
