Nice article, good commentary Sitz.  4 more peaks, better come well after more uphill water push.  That would be ton more terrain to cover when Ma Nature holds back!

Ski vertical Sugarloaf vs SRiver

SL - Superquad 1800 ft
SR - White Cap 1630 ft.
SR - Spruce Peak 1500 ft.
SR - Jordan Bowl 1490 ft.
SR - Locke Mountain 1460 ft.
SL - Skyline 1457 ft
SR - Barker Mountain 1400 ft.
SL - W Mtn 1275 ft
SL - Bucksaw 1191 ft
SL - Whiffletree 1100 ft
SR - Aurora Peak 1100 ft.
SR - Oz 1100 ft.
SL - King Pine 1074 ft
SL - Spillway W 1066 ft
SL - Double runner W 1014 ft
SR - North Peak 1000 ft.
SL - Timberline 898 ft
SL - Double runner E 617 ft
SR - South Ridge 500 ft.
SL - Snubber 423 ft

I do not think white cap lift is 1600. It's 1600 from base of white cap to top of white heat but that takes 2 lifts. I skinned it the other day. Exactly 1600 feet

Seems like you're comparing lift vertical at SL with peak height at SR?

SL's greatest lift rise is SQ at 1750' while SR's is Barker at just under 1500'

SL peak is 4237' while the highest at SR is 3140' (aka OZ)

True up Vertical puts SL at 2410 total vertical skiable and SR at 1758
and Bucksaw & Spillway have been taken out....

dont think he is using peak height...Oz is 3180...he has the lift vertical correct minus White Cap which is wrong.

If I skied at SR, I'd never ski at SL. My advice to all you guys is to never ski at SL. Definitely not worth the drive.
That list is missing 2 lifts on white cap
I suspect MB is correct. That looks like base to summit
Suspect? Rippy, come on over what's it been 20 years. We can show u a good time I am confident in that
