Was thinking about taking advantage of the Big Sky lift ticket deal with the New England pass, but am finding flights are expensive. Has any one been out there that can share the expected price range for flights?. On line discount flight services show around $900.00 round trip per person.

We were out there 2 years ago, flew united from Boston-Denver-Bozeman...we had free tix but the cost was about $600 per ticket. Free lift tickets and great loding adde to the deal....Bandy1080 on the board has a place out there and is the resident expert. Might be the most fun I ever had on a ski trip. Lone Peak is pretty cool.
We just booked flights in February, $480 per person. Bags will be extra, but that's it unless we want to eat, drink, use the bathroom or whatever else they charge extra for.

I noticed that March was much more expensive, and vacation week in February was crazy.
I'm shipping my gear (not my boots) out west this year. Baggage fees are getting ridiculous, so much cheaper to arrange having your gear shipped!

I love the Montana mentality, their approach to life. Never been to Bozeman, only Butte, Helena and surroundings.
Thats a damn good idea son!
Still hoping for some Southwest Airlines service out of PWM to happen soon.

I love southwest flights.
PWM is tough. Limited flights and limited airlines...so they can price a little more aggressively as the demand won't fall-off too much (lack of other options nearby!). I wonder if Southwest has flights out of manchester.

We're skiing in Utah this year MS69. You're going to show KC what it's like to party in powpow.

Cheapest I have ever found from Boston is $400 and that was three years ago. Lately they have been in the $500 range. My advice is to try to use frequent flier miles if you can. And don't fly on weekends.

As Chris mentioned, my family owns an amazing slopeside condo out there so if anyone is interested in going out there definitely check with me first as we can cut you some good rates.
Good chance you will see me in Utah as well.

PWM has Airtran, which is being purchased by Southwest, so they'll be here soon.
In the northeast Southwest presently flies out of Manchester, Boston & Providence.

What's the matter? Scared to get schooled by too many people at once? You best show up. Tanya and I will bury you while Walter, Jim, and Ellen film it. You best show up.

we going to Utah (free tix and hotel) but afraid of partying with MS69, so we are coming week before.

KC, how much to ship your stuff? I have never paid more than $50 per way to bring stuff...most of the time the Delta guys at curbside will do if for free (with a $20 tip)....have been was dozens of times, never even considered shipping stuff. If snow in store, leave skis home and rent big boy skis.
