John's Revenge (unofficial glade between Dreamaker and 3D).

Is that on the mt bike trail through there?

No. That is a new sign since the glade cutting. There is another one I saw. Said something like "I am not coming back"

It is on a not on the map trail between 3D and Dreammaker, call TreeD.  I highly don't recommend the trail.  Lots ski wreckage, and major risk of injury(LOL).

Which will be torn apart when the new park trail is built next year.....which is OK by me plenty of other off trails stuff and an all park trail will be great for SR.

You are all correct.  More signs to come over the winter.

Never heard it called John's Revenge.  Tree-D is obvious where that name came from. What is the history of naming it John's Revenge?

Oh yeah and it is flagged for cutting.  Not sure when it will happen though.

According to SR Management at Ski Club meeting, trail to be cut this summer.  Held up one year to add more snowmaking (great move).  Think I heard a potential name of Project 52 or something like that.....

Trail 72 is what I remember

I don't get the relevance of the name

That is what the construction company had the project named.....

had some fun in there last week, pretty nice glade. Bit tight near the bottom for a snowboard though, especially after it got bumped up.  I like the signage.

While we're talking not trails, very bummed by the ice storm damage pre christmas on the west side. A tree decided to fall at the worst possible spot killing a certain run for the year.
John's Revenge is in fact located in Tree D (or whatever else you know it as). John was a long time Perfect Turn coach that lost a battle with pancreatic cancer 2 years ago. The signs referenced some of his more frequent sayings and were placed by some of his fellow pros/friends as a lasting reminder. At one point there were six signs. You even find hooligans in the Western mountains of Maine!
