Last I knew there was a waiting list, but that was years ago and I know some of the mountain policies in terms of passes have changed since Boyne took over.
The Killington pass is NO BLACKOUT, but early season the mountain shuts you off unless you are working. Family passes occur ofter 1st and 2nd year of work, 2nd year is spouse, 3rd year may include family. You get 15% discount on shop purchases on the mountain and some shops in the area. You get 50% food discount in lodges (makes it worth eating there, almost).
Commitment is 24 days of which 2 are pre-season training.

Talked to a friend who is in the program at Killington and he gets a free pass (NO blackouts!!) and free passes for his family as well he has to commit to 20 days of skiing. I can't find any information on the SR website.
