Permalink Reply by Carl on March 8, 2013 at 12:40pm So - compared to last year adults are up $30 for a Gold ($969 to $999) and for Juniors it's up $20 ($645 to $665). Not bad.
I think Maine Student Pass is down a bit.....but cannot recall.
Was someone expecting prices to go down...??? $30 is less than a 3% increase....

Permalink Reply by Riverskier on March 8, 2013 at 1:40pm A $20 increase for my Silver Pass seems reasonable. I do wish they had some sort of bonus for returning passholders though. New passholders get to ski the rest of this season from March 18th on if the pass is paid in full. That is a heck of a deal! I get it, they want to entice new customers, but just a little something to reward those loyal customers that buy a pass year after year. $50 off for returning passholders? A free ticket for a friend that could be used after March 18th?
A reasonable increase in prices. I do not expect more for my renewal. The special offer is only good if you do not have a pass. An enticement to get more people hooked in. It is what it is.
Permalink Reply by Glade Monkey on March 8, 2013 at 2:31pm They are all pretty sweet deals.
Gold pass pays for itself after only 12 days at regular season pricing,
Silver after 8 and the Maine student (SR & SL version) after only 7 days on the hill.
Sugarloaf is still offering the gold+ pass, for $150 more you get an hour of first tracks on Sundays and a couple times during school vacation weeks.
75-80 days skiing / $1000 still best deal in recreation.
