Time after time, I find some of the same spots on trails that just never let me down.Upper Risky, skiers left right under the lift.  Theres always a good 10-15 turns there that have good cover. The very top of Northern Lights, as you get off the lift and go around the first turn.  There's always that little hip jump on the skiers right.  Sometimes you can get some nice air.  The landing can be rough though depending on skier traffic.Lower Obsession.  The triple headwalls.  Can't go…See More

How many days are really needed to go explore Sugarloaf (not including Brackett Basin). We're planning our first trip up there for later this month and don't want to get bored. Just finished 2 weeks on the road with the Freestyle crew.  We had comps at both Loon and Sugarloaf.It was really interesting to see the differences between all 3 resorts.  Some observations:Loon.Seemed like there was a lodge or warming hut at the bottom of every lift.  Tissues and maps at every lift lineFirst experience with the magic carpet quad load.  Pretty sweet.Good terrain.  Suprisingly, the 2 days we were there it was relatively uncrowded.  Have been there in the past when it is a…See More
